Chronos-1 is two Nasdaq-100 Stock Index Future trading systems, a counter-trend system that uses 1-min bars and a time/events-following system that uses intra-day time filters. Because the two systems use different calculations and entry methodologies, they are complimentary: you are better off trading a combination of the two than either alone. Both systems have impressive performance over the life of the Nasdaq in its index future form. This robust performance is important because most Nasdaq, S&P or other “fast market” systems lose effectiveness after a short shelf-life. They were designed to trade these markets in their current incarnations, and when they change, performance degrades. [See Disclaimer].
Trading Chronos-1 you have the all benefits of the computerized technical trading system:
Chonos-1operates under two algorithms – technical indicators calculations algorithm, and time-scanning algorithm. The first generates signals based on break-channel intra-bar system calculations, and the second scans the signals with the time, and filters them through predetermined time intervals. Only the signals generated within these intervals are considered tradable signals. The time window intervals are determined from historical market patterns based on fundamental intra-day market moving events.
Designed, developed, and programmed by trading veterans and experienced off-floor traders Chronos-1 incorporates proven real-world techniques into its proprietary trading strategies. These elements are then transformed into a fully researched, easy-to-use trading program, which gives you VERY SPECIFIC buy/sell signals for Nasdaq-100 futures markets. Additionally, it includes months of prior system price data at and it gives you the ability to perform historical record and testing of the system. [See Disclaimer].
Chronos-1 enters the market only when the break-channel intra-bar system generates a signal within the time window intervals scanned by the time-scanning algorithm, which filters them through predetermined time intervals.
Once Chronos-1 enters a trade, a fixed Protective Loss Stop of 20 Nasdaq-100 points is placed below or above the entry price. If the price moves 20 points in the direction of the trade, the system automatically trails the Loss Stop. Chronos-1 stop placement technique puts stops at logical levels. It attempts to risk only what is necessary to be in a trade and reduces the chance of being prematurely stopped out. [See Disclaimer].
Chronos-1 specifies a fixed Profit Objective equal to 40 points of Nasdaq-100 Stock Index Futures. This profit objective is based on historical statistical calculations of market volatility and support/resistance threshold levels. If the last trading signal(s) does not yield the target objective of 40 points when the market closes, the outcome of the signal(s) is recorded as follows: breakeven - if the market closes above/below the entering price for buy/sell signal respectively; loss - if the market closing price is below/above the entering price.
While Chronos-1 is in a trade, the system trading rules allow entering a second trade in the same direction of the current trade if the signal is generated within the next time window. On the other hand, Chronos-1 trading rules impose restriction for entering trades on signals in opposite direction of the current trade if the stop loss has not been hit or the objective price has not been reached. (See Actual Trading Charts).
Virtually every possible market contingency is covered by the system rules so you always know exactly what to do. At the time of every entry, you always have a solid protective stop and precise target so you know exactly where to get in and where to get out and what to do in case things go or do not go your way. This eliminates many stressful decisions associated with trading errors and unnecessary losses. All of the Chronos-1 strategies are time tested, work and are built into the system. Chronos-1 is designed for both new as well as experienced traders. Chronos-1 works for stock index futures as well as for financial futures.
